Shirley Jackson Award Nomination

Curdle Creek has been nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award. I am so excited. Curdle Creek is inspired by Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery. It’s a chilling story that feels timeless. The story invites us to think about traditions and rituals, systems, sacrifices and who is called on to make them. The Lottery is an unsettling read. I highly recommend settling in and reading or re-reading it.
